The weather in Tel Aviv in February is generally warm, with an average temperature of 20°C.


The New Israeli Shekel (NIS) is the official national currency. All the major credit cards are accepted in Israel in places displaying the emblem at the entrance.

Airport Information & Travel to Tel-Aviv

Ben Gurion International Airport serves many daily direct flights from most destinations. The airport is located 20-30 minutes from the city of Tel Aviv, and private taxis are available 24 hours a day, as well as regular train service. Approximate cost is NIS 160-200 ($40-50) per taxi to the city center.


Most Europeans do not require an entry visa to Israel. Participants are requested to consult the Israeli Embassy or Consulate in their home country or with their travel agency for specific details relating to visa requirements. It is the responsibility of the participant to obtain a visa if required.
